Linda Iha
Born in 1979 in Okinawa, where she lives and works. father is a second-generation Okinawan born in Hawaii, and mother was born in Tinian, where family had emigrated. Iha photographs the everyday lives of Americans and Okinawan people living in Okinawa, and continues to create works centered on the region—a place deeply intertwined with her own identity.
